"It was September 2005, I was @ my 12th M.A.R.S. event in Maryland. I was there to pick up (3) 6ft Vision cages & 1 or 2 future breeders. That was planned & DONE. Late that Saturday during my networking "walk-around" I met Rich V! I had been viewing his RACK setup & even had time to do a thorough hands~on TOUCH test. I asked my S.O. Carmen, how much room do we have for transport & how much cash did I have for a possible deposit. He then appeared & introduced hisself. I had allready taken measurements & just needed to know who installs the "heat tape". The tracks for the Heat Tape were precisionly cut from the bottom row to the top. Rich was willing to "WIRE" them for HEAT that night!
Being as I often stay O/nite @ that 2day event & I am just a patron, I passed & wished him a good evening of dinner & whatever. Sunday, we exchanged digits, e~mail etc, I slid (1) shoe box out & jotted down the # Sterilite 1752, slid it back in noticing how smooth it was + LID~LESS a big plus for finnicky feeders who release food items fed by tweezers or forceps once lid is returned or box is "tucked in". Thanks to his laid back, non~aggressive Customer Service skills I purchase 20~60 tubs @ Events on the East Coast. Yes, I still have the former racks & the shoe boxes w/lids... but I now can house 120 future neonates in Herp Enclosure Racks!" "Thanks Rich, these racks are awesome!! The under belly heating assures my snakes are at optimal temperature, and the locking pins keep everyone in place ... no escapee's here.
